Knowledge Exchange Framework

Plymouth Marjon 花季视频 submitted to the first Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) exercise in October 2020. The KEF is intended to increase efficiency and effectiveness in use of public funding for knowledge exchange, to further a culture of continuous improvement in universities by a package of support to keep English university knowledge exchange operating at a world class standard. It aims to address the full range of KE activities.

Partnerships

Our knowledge exchange work at Plymouth Marjon 花季视频 is developed through a variety of links and partnerships with a range of organisations and communities. The links below give just a few examples of the work being done across the university.

 

 

FLAVOUR Project

Plymouth Marjon 花季视频 is part of  鈥淔LAVOUR Project鈥 part-funded by the INTERREG 2 Seas Mers Zee毛n Programme. With the entire programme area struggling to prevent food waste and the number of people experiencing food insecurity increasing, the FLAVOUR project has been designed to tackle these challenges through the valorisation of food surplus whilst simultaneously creating jobs, pathways to employment and supporting people living in food insecurity. The project specifically intend to create new, socially innovative business models to make the interception and redistribution of surplus viable. 

 

A busy schedule of research events

The 花季视频 is committed to supporting our researchers and offers a wide range of training & knowledge exchange events for postgraduate research 花季视频 and staff. The Research & Knowledge Exchange Office is responsible for coordinating a programme of events split into four main series:

  • Academy Lecture Series: high-profile speakers from a range of disciplines, open to the public.
  • Brown Bag Series: an opportunity for staff and 花季视频 to share and discuss their research. A great opportunity for PGR 花季视频 and early career researchers to build confidence within an informal setting.
  • Research Developer Series: a wide range of training workshops including support with bids, statistical workshops, life after PhD and much more.
  • Research Supervisor Forum: support for PGR supervisors and a chance to share best practice.
